As a part of our business process, we will collect nonpublic personal information about you and/or your organization from various sources, that may include: 

  • Notes from interviews regarding the client’s tax situation 

  • Applications, organizers, or other documents that supply such information as your name, address, telephone number, Social Security Number/EIN, income, financial statements, and other tax-related data. 

  • Required tax related documents provided by the client to be used for processing tax returns and/or giving professional tax-related planning strategies. 

We do not disclose any nonpublic personal information about our clients or former clients to anyone, except as requested by our clients or as required by law. 

We restrict all access to private information related to individual or business clients, except to our employees who need such information to provide services. We have procedures in place that comply with federal regulations to ensure safeguards around client physical and electronic records. 

SMS Policy

As a client of Total Business Solutions (TBS), you may be contacted via text messages regarding scheduling meetings or account questions.  

You explicitly agree or “OPT IN” to receive this type of communication when providing your phone number to TBS as a client or potential client or entering your phone number into our online scheduling system when booking an appointment.  

We value your privacy and are committed to protecting your personal information. Your phone number and any other personal information collected will be used solely for the purpose of sending you messages regarding your account or scheduled appointments. No nonpublic personal information (i.e. Social Security Number) will be transmitted via text. Neither TBS nor our online scheduling provider shares your information with third parties without your consent.
